The course provides a concise but comprehensive "toolbox" of the general principles of criminal law of new technologies, through a framework of the fundamental principles of criminal law and in particular of criminal law of computer technology that takes into account the most important issues arising in the specific sector.  Some "emblematic" cases within the framework of computer crimes are also examined in depth, for their theoretical and applicative importance: web defamation, abusive access to computer or telematic systems and finally computer fraud.

Furthermore, the main procedural activities carried out today with the aid of information and communication technologies will be examined, also with reference to the impact that these activities produce at the level of principles and rights.
