Goals

The course aims to deepen the construction of "web-intelligence" based on enterprise big data and digital technologies. In recent years, in fact, we have witnessed the success of applications and techniques of artificial intelligence and statistical analysis on what are commonly called enterprise big data platforms. The analysis on these data are in fact now necessary to achieve and maintain a competitive advantage over time and to support, more generally, the business decision-making process.

The applications are of particular interest to large enterprises in the commercial, marketing, and manufacturing and supply chain sectors.

The course will therefore explore the applications of statistical techniques and big data and related web-intelligence platforms.
